Corporate Partnerships

Partnering with Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (formerly PMH Foundation) is a fantastic way your organisation can increase employee morale, promote team building and together show how strongly committed we both are to the Western Australian community.

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation corporate partners have helped provide vital funds to support everything from state-of-the-art medical equipment to staff expertise, play areas and research programs at Princess Margaret Hospital. Our partners are also starting to support projects at the soon to be opened Perth Children’s Hospital.

a true partnership

At Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation we see corporate partnerships as a real collaborative effort.

As a Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation Corporate Partner you will work with a dedicated Partnerships Manager who will help to drive both organisations key priorities throughout the partnership.

They will also work with you to develop a mutually beneficial relationship that will not only help raise vital funds and support for WA’s only specialist hospital, but will also align with and hopefully strengthen both organisation’s goals.

how your organisation can get involved

We understand that every organisation is unique and to reflect this we offer a range of initiatives and programs for our corporate partners.

No matter how big or small your organisation is, or what your objectives and goals are, your Partnerships Manager will work with you and the hospital to find the best opportunity for your organisation to make a difference to sick and injured children in Western Australia.

Corporate Fundraising Events

Nominating the Foundation as the beneficiary of existing company events such as golf days or casual dress days or holding a specific fundraising event is a great way for your organisation to support the children in hospital.

As a corporate partner, we are able to assist you with the organisation of such events and can supply items such as posters, banners, donation tins and even guest speakers.

Another way of supporting the hospital is through leveraging the Foundation’s events program. This may include entertaining clients at our Gala celebration, entering a team in the John Hughes Big Walk, sponsoring an event as a marketing opportunity, or providing employees with volunteering opportunities at these fundraising events.

If you’re interested in hosting your own event or becoming part of one of our events please contact our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Nicole.

Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy Program

Our vision is that the Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program will stimulate collaborations between individuals and corporates, as well as other not-for-profit organisations, in order to achieve amazing outcomes for the broader community in which we all operate.

The Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program provides participants with a unique opportunity to be mentored and lead by example, to innovate and take calculated risks, to create new networks and learn about another industry, and to realise their potential and experience the wonderful world of philanthropy.

Each year teams are established to accept a challenge to raise awareness and funds for Child and Adolescent Health in Western Australia. Teams are matched with a mentor for the journey, receive leadership training delivered by industry experts and have regular meetings with high profile business leaders.

Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving provides a great opportunity to encourage employees to work together towards a project in support of children in hospital.

The program offers a strong sense of purpose for those participating by making a contribution towards vital equipment, training or life-saving research. All this can be achieved with a small contribution in line with pay day, from as little as the equivalent of a takeaway coffee.

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation also offers the option for your organisation to nominate a specific department or area of child health to direct your support. By supporting an area that is important to your employees you can encourage participation and a sense of achievement. Burns, Cancer, Respiratory, Cardiology, ICU, Neonates or Neurology are some examples of areas at the hospital where funds can be directed.

To find out more about Workplace Giving please contact our Corporate Partnerships Manager Nicole.

Recycling Program

Tony-GoldenGecko

Program Manager, Tony Fitz-Gibbon with the Golden Gecko award.

Ruggies Recycling is a program that aims to coordinate the recycling of waste materials at mine sites throughout Western Australia.

All profits made from the sale of these recyclable materials are donated to the Foundation to support projects at Princess Margaret Hospital and the soon to open Perth Children’s Hospital.

The program began in 1995 at Granny Smith gold mine when Environmental Officer Rory Lamont recognised the opportunity to recycle a range of materials that were previously going into landfill.

Currently, more than 65 mine sites throughout Western Australia are part of the Recycling program and together they have raised over $3.5 million for vital projects at Princess Margaret Hospital.

The Ruggies Recycling program has also been the recipient of a Golden Gecko Award for Environmental Excellence.

To find out more about the program please contact Program Manager, Tony Fitz-Gibbon.

Cause Related Marketing

Cause Related Marketing is a powerful way to demonstrate to customers and the wider community that your company has strong community values. Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, continuing as Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation is one of the most trusted and recognised charities in Western Australia.

Aligning your company with the Foundation through co-branding will show your customers that you are committed to improving child health while providing them with the opportunity to support Western Australian children through the purchase of your product.

Our corporate partners most commonly adopt a cause related marketing program by donating a percentage of the sales of a product/s to the Foundation. As a corporate partner, your dedicated Partnerships Manager will work with you to tailor the best strategy to help achieve both businesses’ goals.

If you’re interested in finding out more please contact our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Carol.
