Located in the beachside suburb of Scarborough, Sweet Charity WA is Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation’s new retail outlet catering to those on the lookout for an amazing bargain! Selling pre-loved, quality goods, all profits will go to the Foundation to support vulnerable kids at the hospital.
Motivated by the children of WA, Sandy Johns and Margie Booth have teamed up with Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation to establish Sweet Charity WA. Located in Scarborough, the store sells quality pre-loved goods to raise funds for PMH and the soon to open Perth Children’s Hospital.
We want to provide assistance to kids in hospital, says Sandy.
Margie agrees wholeheartedly. “We also want to help kids in the future, through the funding of medical research.”
Margie met Sandy while they were both volunteering and they quickly realised that they shared the same passion for helping sick kids. Sandy has a history with PMH; her son spent time in the hospital and she sees Sweet Charity WA as a way to give back. They have a love for thrift shopping and vintage pieces and together have created a quirky, welcoming store.
