When Jamie and Heidi got married earlier this year, they decided that instead of buying the normal chocolates or stubby holder as bonbonnieres, they wanted to do something that was different.

So the pair decided to make a donation to PMH Foundation. In return, they received individual Stitches the Bear pins attached to lovely backing cards which thanked their guests for sharing their wedding day and explaining they had made a donation to Princess Margaret Hospital on their behalf.
The couple’s decision to make a donation in lieu of wedding bonbonnieres was an easy one. Since the day Heidi’s daughter Jessica was born, she has had numerous operations and extended stays in Princess Margaret Hospital.
Heidi’s step-son Justin also attends regular speech pathology, ophthalmology and ENT (ear, nose and throat) specialist appointments at the hospital.
“The staff at Princess Margaret Hospital are nothing short of amazing! They have made a huge and positive impact on our children’s lives so we wanted to give something back,” Heidi explained.
Jaime and Heidi found that their wedding guests absolutely loved the special bonbonnieres, with most saying they were the best they have ever seen!
“So many of our guests came up to us on the night and said how special the bonbonnieres were to them. They said it meant so much more knowing that instead of getting a little packet of sweets or ornament to take home they were helping Princess Margaret Hospital to provide treatment and care for thousands of children each year,” explained Heidi.
“It really made mine and Jamie’s special day that little bit more special!”
